Hi admin,
I wanted to ask actually if Acomplia can help me to lose weight or not…as my BMI is 26 and I read that people whos BMI is 27 can use it and I really need to lose about 7 kgs..so I wanted to make sure if it can help or not..another question is if there is any way, suggestion or possibility to avoid the depression caused by the drug or not because it really freightens me thinking that I’m gonna be that depressed..Thanks and waiting for the reply
November 9th, 2007 at 5:48 pm
Hello Yomna
I really think acomplia can help you.
You are right there is a problem with the depression ,but its nothing to worry about it.
If you don’t have problems now with depressions you won’t have to worry if you take acomplia.
Belive me right now acomplia its the best diet pill on the market with few side effects and great results comparing to other weight loss drugs such as xenical or Phentermine.
If you want to find out more about acomplia results you can go to the main pharmacy where one of our online support will assist you.You can even watch a video on Youtube about acomplia

I have been taking acomplia for 3 months and have lost 39 pounds,I think its great. This is a wonderful diet drug. I have not had any bad side effects. The best thing about this drug is that it is not a stimulant. I have no cravings, and really have to force myself to eat each day. It makes it very easy to make good choices since you don’t crave those bad foods. The only bad thing about this med is the cost of $200 per month. But to me it is well worth it.
Yomna I think you should try this.Everything comes with a risk including doing nothing. the risk of rimonabant is acceptable for people who are at risk due to their obesity.
It is clear that who suffers from depression or bi-polar disorder should not be taking this medication. It also seems clear that if there is a family history of these disorders, it should only be taken under a doctors supervision. If not acomplia its great.

Hi, I want to know if there is any contradiction between Acomplia and another drugs for digestive problems…and if I have digestive problems is this an obstacle or not??
November 10th, 2007 at 11:56 am
Hi Lola ,
there is no known recognised drug interaction between Acomplia and digestive drugs, so we do not expect there to be any particular problem in taking this combination. However, if you do have any concerns about your treatment, I advise that you speak to your doctor,it is more safe this way.
Because it has positive effects beyond weight reduction, it is easy to see why there is so much hype around Acomplia. An appetite suppressant that
can also affect such an array of other conditions has not been available for some time. Some in the weight loss industry consider Acomplia to be a kind of
“miracle drug” that can help people get more focused on the changes needed to lose excess weight once and for all.
The fact that Acomplia may also be effective in helping people to stop smoking when it blocks the cannabinoid receptors in the hypothalamus
of the brain gives it an extra edge over other diet pills.

Fine…can you tell me the expected kgs to lose in one month when I’m 66kgs weight and 159cm tall..I know it is sort of hard and maybe stupid question…but maybe you can help me with this…thanks
November 10th, 2007 at 2:34 pm
Sherona..Tell me what was your weight before using the drug?? or what is the percentage of the 39 pounds to your weight in the very beginning… If you don’t want to answer no problem and sorry for asking you this question…but it could really be helping to me and many others like lola…thanks and sorry again
November 10th, 2007 at 4:37 pm
Lola I can say that your weight problem its not so far from the perfect weight .And i think that if you really want this you can get it .
How much weight you actually lose will depend on your own body and the options you choose. No matter what you do to try to lose weight, it all comes down to two things. What you put in your mouth and how much exercise you get. If you reduce what you put in your mouth, but not exercise you will lose weight. If you exercise but still eat the same, you will lose weight. If you reduce what you put in your mouth and exercise, you will not only lose weight but you will lose more of it, faster and will be in better health to keep it off. This method is really simple, but like anything you have to be willing to really want to make a change in your life. All that you have to do is select.
Here are some advices:
Stop using or adding salt to your food.
• Stop using or adding sugar to your food (this includes adding sugar to your coffee, tea and cereal).
• Replace carbonated beverages (soda, pop) with water or low fat milk (skim or 1%).
• Start taking a multi-vitamin every day.
• Avoid fried foods (French fries, fried chicken, fried fish, etc.) replace with baked, grilled or BBQ.
• Avoid bagged potato, taco chips and chocolate candy, replace with fruit and rice cakes.
• Replace white bread with 100% whole wheat bread.
• Avoid creamy dressings or sauces, even if they say “light” or “reduced fat”.
• Avoid pre-sweetened cereals, replace with an unsweetened whole grain cereal or oatmeal (please don’t add sugar!).
• Just say no to donuts and pastry.
• Drink 4 glasses of water a day.
• Use 1% or skim milk instead of regular or 2% milk
Damn even i am scared when i see all this restrictions:))
But you know this is Ideal way to Lose Weight,I think ts very hard but its the best.
On the other hand its always a solution:) Acomplia helps to loose weight without any dietary changes and exercise, but as we all know every diet pill comes with side effects.
As i was saying acomplia has few side effects and nothing that can cause big troubles
Lola i can not answer exactly to your question but i can offer you some information from clinical trials:
Exhaustive clinical trials conducted with Acomplia on more than 6800 patients yielded substantial results. Patients given Acomplia for a period of one year achieved an average weight loss of six and half kg as compared to just over one and half kg achieved by those on placebo. Most of the weight loss was achieved in the first 9 months of the trial with Acomplia.
Acomplia was also found to reduce the risk of regaining weight. When a group of patients from one of the clinical trials was re-randomized and split into Acomplia and placebo groups, those patients who continued on Acomplia achieved a total weight loss of 7.5 kg over the two year trial period. On the other hand patients who were transferred to placebo achieved a much lower weight loss of only 3.1 kg over the same period.
The best part about Acomplia diet pills is that it brings about sizeable reduction in the waist circumference – nearly 6 to 7 cm on an average. This measure is an indication of intra-abdominal fat and is believed to be more important that BMI. If you have a large waist circumference, you should buy Acomplia for reducing it.
I hope my answer was helpul
November 10th, 2007 at 4:58 pm
regarding your advices I really appreciate it so much and I’ll try to go on those steps…but I couldn’t understand the patients lost the six and half kgs in one year??? and again thanks alot
November 10th, 2007 at 5:14 pm
Glad to hear that. That were only clinical trials.Right now Acomplia its under prescription and special dosage to get best results
November 10th, 2007 at 5:50 pm
In the Phase III clinical trials for Acomplia Rimonabant, people who were on rimonabant for a year lost up to 10 percent of their body weight. And those who continued on Acomplia for a second year maintained their weight loss.
With just a pill of Acomplia-Rimonabant is stoping food craving enough to help people lose weight, and it’s probably very usefull in curbing other risk factors.Rimonabant Acomplia ,in one study helped people who were obese lost like 20 pounds weight and has very helpful for the people who are overweight.
So when you take this acomplia , you will automatically stop eating so much because you can’t fell the desire to
to eat.If you take care and eat also natural food ,as admin mentioned in the reply i think you can get to normal weight fast
November 11th, 2007 at 1:01 pm

hello
I just started taking rimonabant 6days ago, and I havent lost anything. When will I start losing? I also have hypothyroidism,a nd I know it makes it harder to lose weight. But i took phentermine and lost 42 pds, but put it back on because the price sky rocketed ans I could not afford it anymore. Please respond ASAP!!!!
November 14th, 2007 at 7:53 pm
Hi gerry.
Phentermine is dangerous if stop taking it.This kind of thing won’t happen with acomplia .This was tested and all the patients that used acomplia kept their weight after they stop the treatment with acomplia.
I am sorry to inform you but I takes around 3 weeks. After 3 weeks you will start seeing results significantly.
Acomplia does not act right away because Acomplia acts by selectively blocking CB1 receptors found in the brain and in peripheral organs important in glucose and lipid (or fat) metabolism, including adipose tissue, the liver, gastrointestinal tract and muscle.
Acomplia is a non-control weight loss solution that in one study, helped people who were overweight drop an average of 20 pounds, and was found to be very useful for patients who suffer from obesity but it does not acts in 6 days .
Please wait at least another week for results.
And also lot of people that have same problems(hypothyroidism) say that this drug is great for the treatment. It is called Toprol xl high blood pressure blocker.
I don’t know so much about it but people say its great. You can read reviews about it or read a post I made in the past here(Toprol xl)
Good luck, and please don’t hesitate to ask if you have more questions

the dosage is one tablet before or after breakfast?? also is it one tablet all the day or more??
November 20th, 2007 at 4:34 am
The customary dosage of Acomplia is 20mg, which should be consumed with a glass full of water. Acomplia slimming tablet should not be chewed or crushed as it may change the template of its composition.
Patients should take only one 20mg tablet every morning with breakfast. You can choose the hour but it will be great if you keep a specific hour each day when taking acomplia. If you keep a specific hour and eat something before taking acomplia(accompanied by low calorie diet if possible) ,you will see great results.
Do not overdose the drug. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Incase, its time for next scheduled dose, do not double your dose.
Please ask if you have any more questions
Good luck

Hey admin,
I heard that diet pills affect the hormones inside the body and may affect the ability of pregnancy and that it is better for old people to use it than those who are young…Is it true?? and what’s acomplia’s situation regarding this??
November 23rd, 2007 at 6:45 am
Hi yomna
Yes your concerns are true.Diet pills can interact with hormones in many ways and have different side effects .Now it depends on the diet pill ,about the chemical composition of the diet pill….Diet pills can also affect (period-cycle)but not in such a bad matter ,in most of the cases it happens to be late for 2 or 3 weeks.
Also as you have said it is better for a little old people to use them.Remember not everything you read on the internet its true:)
The fact that young people should avoid diet pills is because most of diet pills have no trials ,laboratory tests, and none of them provide information on how will interact with young people.
The majority of tests that were made are with people with a 25 age at least. So there is no attested information on the way diet pills interact with young people.
Acomplia does not affect the ability of pregnancy ,there was no incident reported, but i can not tell you how does acomplia interact with young people. There is no information available on the use of Acomplia in people under 18 years of age.
Now on thing is sure if you are Planning on getting Pregnant or you are already pregnant its strongly indicated that all that use diet drugs should immediately stop the treatment and start a healthy diet because is essential for both you and your baby
Read the Ingredients Some weight loss pills contain the ingredient ephedra (also known as ephedrine and ma huang.) This stimulant has recently come under a lot of scrutiny from the Food and Drug Administration for its links to illness and side effects. Ephedra has been shown to cause heart attacks, seizures and strokes. It is a powerful and dangerous stimulant that can damage the central nervous system and the heart. It is better to consult a doctor to find out which ingredients can affect pregnancy, but I advice everybody to stay away from drugs that contains ephedra
November 23rd, 2007 at 7:58 am
Yep ephedra its very dangerous also watch Out For Dependency Weight loss pills that contain amphetamine or other stimulants may cause withdrawal symptoms when you decide to discontinue the medication.
November 23rd, 2007 at 9:22 am
Hi,yomma.
It’s true that often diet pills affect your hormons and true that your possiblility of getting pregnant, but that is not the case with rimonabant.Because Rimonabant it’s a diet pill that doesn’t work with hormons. He acts on the receptors located in the brain and because of that you fell a smaller desire to eat,so it acts on your appetite.Because of this thing rimonabant it treated like a miracle pill, because it doesn’t affect your body and because you can lose weight without suffering from such bad effects.Because it doesn’t use hormons ,it doesn’t affect your ,so your chances to get pregnant are equal with or without the rimonabant treatment.I don’t know what to say about other pills, but i’m sure when i say that with rimonabant you will not have any problem.
P.S. if you want a child,good luck!!!!!
December 7th, 2007 at 9:14 am
i have been taking acomplia for about three months have lost 15 pounds, but it seems that it has stoped working? MAYBE IT IS THE BATCH I HAVE BEEN GETTING
December 7th, 2007 at 12:52 pm
No don’t worry about that. That is absolutely natural.Continue the treatment without getting a bigger dosage of acomplia. It is very impoortant not to take double dosage of acomplia.
There are 3 periods in acomplia actions. When taking acomplia you’ll start seeing results after 2 weeks and results will continue to show for 3 months or 4 months as you mentioned.
After this period if you continue the treatment you’ll have to wait for 3 weeks and after this period you will start loosing weight again.
So its is perfectly natural to see a Stop in your weight schedule but this is the way acomplia works.
What can you tell about side effects do you have any problems
January 23rd, 2008 at 5:06 pm

January 24th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
Would it be helpful to also take phentermine as an appetitie suppressant? Also, what about Prozac and or Xenical? Are there any drug interactions between Accomplia and either of these drugs?
January 24th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
Hello
Taking 2 diet pills in the same time can cause several side effects.Phentermine works different then Acomplia. If you combine Acomplia with phntermine or Xenical sever side effects will appear. The diet pills act different and all of them have different chemical composition and taking all together can cause serious reactions that will only harm you.
I can not pronounce in case you take Xenical or phentermine with Prozac.
But what I can tell you is that taking Acomplia with antidepressants is not indicated.
January 27th, 2008 at 7:48 pm
Hi. I just received my first month’s supply of Acomplia and took my first pill yesterday morning. I was very disappointed to find that my appetite was basically the same as always– — didn’t really “turn off” like with phentermine. I read your response that it could take three weeks to work, does that also mean for the appetite-suppressant effect to kick in? Thanks!
January 28th, 2008 at 5:20 pm
Yes thats right. You see acomplia its a long term weight loss pill.Thats why is so great. You can use it without any significant side effects for long term. Based on my customers testimonials you will see that your appetite will change in the first month.I can not say exactly when -its depends on how your body interact with the new drug. You are right you see the results in appetite with phentermine in the first day.But what can you say about the side effects of phentermine,is phentermine really working?
February 11th, 2008 at 11:58 pm
my doc says stop smoking or die in 3 years. will this do the trick thanx
February 12th, 2008 at 8:01 am
Yes acomplia also help to quit smoking .But I really think that if you’re doctor told you that its better to quit(with or without acomplia). Its a simple thing to do. I smoked for 10 years…..and stopped immediately when i found that i will have serious problems.
Good Luck !!

Is the generic acomplia as effective as the brand acomplia?
February 29th, 2008 at 1:39 pm
Hi Linda,
Yes the generic version of Acomplia acts the same as the brand name Acomplia. The ingredients are the same only the name is different .
I can mention that our customers reported that with the generic version Rimonabant you can start seeing reults after 3 weeks.
With the brand name the results come after the first 2 weeks.
So you will lose 1 week with the generic version before it starts to take action.

Can you tell me if there are any contraindications with coumadin (which I will be on for the rest of my life)? Also, where I am currently taking Effexor XL for hormonal assistance (am not a candidate for HRT), but have also had depressive episodes in my past. Would it be likely that my doctor may want to explore increasing the Effexor or adding an anti-depressant? I’m also on Tekturna and other bp and allergy/asthmatic meds - if that makes any difference in my receptiveness to rimonabant. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Hi,
As much as I would like to help you I am sure you understand my position and realize that I won’t be able to answer any of your questions.
Your family doctor, which has your medical history on file, is the person you should consult and discuss this with.
Again, I hope you realize this is in YOUR best interest.
